Med/Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking an RN for Med/Surg to join a 33-room unit in Denver, Colorado. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $1,708.20

Role Details

You will provide direct patient care on a Med/Tele unit with patient ratios of 4:1 during day shift. The unit manages up to 49 patients, including semi-private rooms. Your responsibilities include wound care, occasional bowel programs, and light burn care. You will care for surgical flap patients, including those with spinal cord injuries who may have stage 4 wounds requiring surgical intervention. You will also provide care for low-acuity burn patients in partnership with the burn unit.

You will use telemetry monitoring equipment and the Meditech EMR system to document and track patient progress.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with spinal cord injury patients preferred

You should have strong patient care experience and be able to thrive in a busy floor environment. This assignment offers exposure to complex surgical and wound-care cases in an established healthcare system.
