ED Registered Nurse Job in Orangeburg, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at MUSC Health Orangeburg in Orangeburg, SC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 19, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend requirement
• Weekly pay: $1,892.16

Your Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a 37-room emergency department managing approximately 130 visits per day
• Work with all patient age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Float to meet facility and departmental needs based on census
• Patient ratios adjusted based on acuity level
• Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)

Requirements

• Current RN license: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact
• Minimum 2 years of experience (first-time ED candidates with emergency room experience considered)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS (American Heart Association only)
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required
• Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2-week period
• Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable onboarding modules prior to start date
• Support services available: physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
