Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts with varying start times between 6:30 AM - 10:00 AM and varying end times between 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• No holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be required to work Saturdays twice per month if needed for PET/CT scans due to equipment issues or excessive backlog
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Experience with Siemens equipment required
• Must provide own radiation badge (agency must supply)
• Required certifications: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N), NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or (CT), SCRQSA State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography
• Perform various nuclear medicine procedures including PET scans, bone scans, cardiac imaging, renal studies, and whole body imaging
• Work with patients of all ages from neonates to geriatrics
• Use Epic charting system
• Dress code: Teal scrub top with black pants
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy)
• All RTO must be included at time of submission
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
