Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts per week in an acute care setting
• Start and stop times are subject to the number of cases scheduled and the times they are scheduled
• Weekends and holidays covered with rotating call
• On-call requirement is 24/7 with a 30-minute call response time
• One week of on-call per four-week schedule, running Monday 7:00 AM to the following Monday at 7:00 AM
• Call can be 7 consecutive days or broken up throughout the schedule; any hours off the clock, the provider is on call
• Weekend call requirement runs from Friday after hours until Monday morning at 7:00 AM
• Holiday call requirement is rotational
• Perform radiologic technologist duties including scrubbing and assisting physicians using sterile technique
• Common procedures include diagnostic left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, IABP, and temporary pacemaker placement
• Average of 10 cases per day across 2 cath lab suites
• Use Siemens software and equipment; charting completed in EPIC
• Surgical attire provided by the facility
• One week or up to 36 hours of department-specific orientation provided
• Minimum one year of prior cath lab or radiology technologist experience required
• No floating requirements; additional hours may be available in other units based on experience
• Required certifications: ARRT and BLS
