Emergency Room RN Job in Craig, CO

Memorial Regional Health in Craig, Colorado is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department on night shifts. This is a 91-day travel nursing assignment beginning July 6, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,365.20.

About the Role

You will coordinate and implement individualized patient care plans using the nursing process in a fast-paced emergency setting. Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care based on assessments to optimize outcomes. You will utilize prioritization and critical thinking skills with minimal supervision, comply with triage and treatment guidelines, and use evidence-based practices to collaborate with the healthcare team.

Key duties include:

• Coordinating patient care including transfers, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support
• Providing patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and condition
• Effectively delegating patient care to ancillary personnel
• Precepting student nurses and new hires as needed
• Maintaining strict patient confidentiality and following infection control procedures
• Completing required annual education, training, and certification updates
• Practicing according to the ANA Code of Ethics and Colorado State Nurse Practice Act

Requirements

You must hold a current Colorado RN license or Compact license with active BLS certification. ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, STABLE, and NRP certifications are required within specified timeframes. A minimum of two years of hospital nursing experience is required, with one year of Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.
