SLP Job in Richmond, VA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel position at CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus in Richmond, VA. This is a 91-day assignment beginning March 16, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
• Weekly pay: $1,839.60

Role Overview

You will provide swallowing and language services in an inpatient rehabilitation setting with an 8–9 patient ratio. Your responsibilities include stroke evaluation and treatment, swallowing and language procedures, and documentation using the Meditech Expanse system. You may float to the acute hospital census is low or on weekends.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 2 years of hospital setting experience
• Experience with stroke evaluation and treatment
• Therapy degree

Preferred Experience

• Hospital and inpatient rehabilitation background

Equipment & Protocols

You will work with specialized equipment including Vital Stim, AmpCare, MBSS with TIMS, and FEES. You are expected to use AIDET communication and immediate service recovery protocols in all patient interactions.

Work Environment

You will collaborate with a team of 3 speech therapists, 10 OT/PT team members, and 1 support technician. Dress code requires black scrub bottoms and a royal blue top (preferred).
