Telemetry RN Job in Odessa, TX

Odessa Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Telemetry unit. This is a travel nursing position based in Odessa, TX, running for 91 days with a start date of July 6, 2026.

Position Details

• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH
• Not available to local candidates

Responsibilities

You will hold shift accountability for providing direct patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with Texas Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Your role will include demonstrating critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to anticipate patient needs and plan safe care delivery. You will maintain your clinical competencies through continuing education and stay current with unit protocols.

You will delegate patient care priorities appropriately based on the education and experience of available staff members, and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes for your patients on telemetry monitoring.
