CVOR Technologist Surgical Tech Job in Kearney, NE

CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, NE is seeking a Surgical Tech (Allied Health Professional) to join the cardiovascular operating room team. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026.

Position Details

• Work 5 days per week on 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00 AM
• Embedded within the CVOR team in a general OR with 11 suites and an average of 18 cases daily
• Primary focus on CVOR cases including CABG, vascular, and lung procedures
• Assist with general, orthopedic, urology, and ENT cases when not performing cardiovascular work
• On-call requirements of 10–15 days per month with a 15-minute call response time; nights, weekends, and holiday call included

Requirements and Expectations

• Proficiency in open heart procedures and general OR work required
• Current BLS certification
• Valid driver's license at time of submittal
• Artificial nails prohibited in all patient care departments

Compensation and Assignment Terms

You will earn $2,181 per week for this 91-day assignment. This is a fixed-duration contract position offering you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-volume cardiovascular surgical setting while maintaining a predictable Monday–Friday schedule.
