Echo Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health – Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital is seeking an Echo Technologist to join their pediatric cardiology team. You will perform echocardiograms on pediatric patients with complex congenital heart defects, working in a dedicated children's hospital setting.

Schedule & Location

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts starting between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM
• No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements
• Float between Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital and SMP (North Charleston clinic) as needed
• Daily caseload of 4–10 cases per technologist
• Facility may call off approximately 1 shift per 2 weeks

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience (first-time travelers may be considered)
• Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with PE certification or CCI with RCCS certification required at start
• Proficiency in complex congenital heart defects and pediatric echocardiograms
• Extensive knowledge of complex heart disease and cardiac defects
• BLS certification required
• Experience with GE Vivid 95 ultrasound system and PACS preferred

Assignment Details

• 91-day assignment beginning May 11, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,592
• Radiation badge not required
• Must be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
• Approximately 4 hours of non-billable training modules to complete before start

This is a focused opportunity to work exclusively with pediatric patients in a specialized children's hospital environment.
