Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Day shift position available
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday schedule
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1
• Care for patients with variety of medical conditions and post-operative patients
• Patient population primarily elderly but can be as young as 18
• Common diagnoses include post-op orthopedic, general surgery, ETOH, CHF, and pneumonia
• Minimum 2 years of equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 2 previous travel assignments completed required
• Must be experienced with post-surgical drains, central line care/maintenance, Foley insertion
• Must be proficient with G tubes/J tubes/NG tubes/PEG tubes
• IV medication administration and IV push experience required
• Wound care and oxygen therapy experience required
• Epic and telemetry experience preferred
• Required credentials: NH RN License or Compact License with proof of state residency, BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred
