Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

You will work as an RN on the Telemetry unit at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, caring for post-procedural and monitored patients in a structured night shift environment.

Shift and Schedule

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Three shifts per week
• Unit is closed Saturdays and Sundays
• Subject to working holidays based on individual assessment and surgical volumes

Your Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry monitoring and nursing care for post-procedural patients with typical stays of 1–3 nights after surgery
• Manage cardiac catheterization lab patients
• Provide care for emergency room overflow patients when needed
• Deliver compassionate, attentive nursing care aligned with facility protocols

What You Bring

• Current RN license
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
