CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM shifts
• Guaranteed hours up to 40 hours per week
• On-call required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Weekends not typically required, but possible coverage if needed
• Work settings include outpatient, inpatient, ER, community hospital, and Adult ICU
• Perform CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CT arthrography, myelography, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Preferred CT procedures include aspirations, brain perfusion, and drainage
• General skills required: IV starts and contrast administration
• Preferred general skills include PACS
• Primary equipment: GE; preferred equipment: Toshiba
• Seasoned technologist knowledgeable in Trauma, Angios, ED, inpatient, outpatient, and procedures such as biopsies and drainages required
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Charting system: Cerner required; EPIC preferred
• Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Must demonstrate cultural sensitivity to the Alaska Native population
• Scrub color: any color or pattern
• No cost for parking
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), ARRT Advanced Certification
• HARD STOP: ARRT Advanced Certification is required
