RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• 13 or 26 week contract options available
• Position is 4 ten-hour shifts per week
• Shifts rotate between 7:00 AM–5:30 PM and 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
• Routine schedule includes Monday through Friday and Sundays
• One call weekend required every 5 weeks
• One call shift per week and one late stay shift per week required
• Sunday shifts count as one of the four scheduled days for that week
• 1 year of minimum recent Cath Lab experience required
• 1 year minimum experience with Epic EMR required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Must be able to perform all cases in a Cath Lab setting
• Required skills include: ASD Closures, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), Emergency Medications, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella Insertion, Interventional Catheterizations, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV Vasopressors, Left Heart Catheterization, Pacemaker/Defibrillator Lead Extraction/Removal, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz Monitoring, Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablator Atherectomy, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Ventricular Assist Device Insertion, and Watchman Procedure
• Special equipment includes: IVUS, OCT, FFr, IMPELLA, IABP, Penumbra, Rotablator, and Shockwave
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Unit has 4 rooms with approximately 25 visits per day
• Floating to other units or campuses may be required based on census needs
• If on a 26-week contract, travelers are required to work two of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
• Time off requests during December 26–31 are not permitted for 26-week contracts
