Respiratory Therapist Job in Manchester, NH

Elliot Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week from 6:15 AM to 6:45 PM, totaling 36 hours weekly. Every other weekend is required with no on-call responsibilities.

About the Role

You will provide comprehensive respiratory care across all age groups, from neonates to geriatric patients. Your responsibilities include:

• Administering nebulizers, chest physiotherapy, high-flow oxygen, and non-invasive ventilation
• Operating cough assist and intermittent positive pressure ventilation (IPV) equipment
• Assisting with intubations and bronchoscopy procedures
• Managing mechanical ventilation and transporting mechanically ventilated patients
• Performing airway management, blood gas analysis, suctioning, and pulmonary toileting
• Medication administration under supervision

Required Qualifications

• Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential
• Valid New Hampshire state license
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• BLS and RRT certifications (AHA or Red Cross only)
• Epic charting experience
• Demonstrated competency in airway management, ventilator management, and oxygen therapy

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS and PALS certifications
• CRTT (Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician) credential
• Experience with Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I, and LTV 1200/HT70 ventilators

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome. You will not be assigned to Level 3 NICU settings. Pediatric ER and pediatric assignments require demonstrated competency. A drug screen must be completed within 14 days of your start date.

Weekly Pay: $2,047.68
