<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• Every other weekend requirement includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday<br>• No on-call requirement<br>• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:6<br>• Float to other Med Surge units as needed<br>• 2+ years of nursing experience required<br>• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required<br>• BLS certification required<br>• Use EPIC electronic medical record system<br>• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served<br>• Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner<br>• Demonstrate performance consistent with unit standards of care<br>• Must be able to handle emergency/crisis situations<br>• Requires prolonged standing and walking with heavy physical effort for patient positioning and transfers<br>• Work in bloodborne pathogen environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays<br>• Flexible schedule due to unexpected changes and emergencies</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This regional medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides quality patient care services across multiple specialties.
