Opportunity:

RN - Infusion

Job Details:

• Work day shift 8:00 AM start time, Monday through Friday with 5/8 hour shifts
• Occasional weekend coverage if agreed upon
• Patient ratio of 3:1 during day shifts
• Approximately 20 patient visits per day
• No float or call requirements
• 32 hours of orientation required
• 2 years of experience required for submission
• Chemotherapy certification required (ONS/ONCC)
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, ONS Chemo Therapy Immunotherapy Provider Card
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Provide outpatient infusion services including chemotherapy administration
• Manage and access ports, administer blood products, and handle cytotoxic medications
• Perform IV push administration of chemotherapy and manage infusion pumps
• Provide patient and family education and support
• Work with adult patient population
• Handle special procedures including intravesicular chemotherapy
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
