Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Every other weekend shift required
• No call required
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Holiday coverage expected: if one or two major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work two
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, RRT
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Required skills include: Adult Critical Care, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), mechanical ventilation weaning, extubation, tracheostomy care and management, nitric oxide (iNO), oral and nasal suctioning, nasal airway placement, sputum specimen collection, metered dose inhaler (MDI), aerosol setup for mask and trach, and troubleshooting high pressure alarms, among others
