<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - EP Lab</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour shifts with varying day shift times: 6:00 AM-6:30 PM, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, or 8:00 AM-8:30 PM<br>• Call requirements on rotational basis approximately once every six weeks (may be as frequent as once every 4 weeks)<br>• Saturday call from 7:00 AM-5:00 PM and Sunday call from 7:00 AM-2:00 PM<br>• Provide high level of care for Cardiac Observation Unit patients pre and post procedures<br>• Work with high risk, high acuity cardiac patients<br>• Admit patients and prep for Cath procedures including charting pre-procedure checklist, IV starts, and access preparation<br>• Prepare patients for Cardioversions (CV) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)<br>• Recover patients following Cath procedures who had conscious sedation<br>• Sedate, circulate, and document bedside procedures including CV and TEE<br>• Discharge patients with teaching, documentation, and physical discharge<br>• Perform various patient tests and administer medications within scope of practice<br>• Required certifications: Arizona RN license or compact state license, ACLS, BLS<br>• Will consider experience in PACU, ICU, Telemetry, Cath Lab, or Surgery Center on case-by-case basis</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This medical center features a specialized Cardiac Observation Unit where patients are prepped for procedures and recover post-procedure.
