Job Details:

• Work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday night shifts with one call shift per month
• Operate standard and portable radiology equipment to perform radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies
• Perform specialized imaging procedures including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastro-intestinal series and body section radiography
• Assist physicians during specialized imaging procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems regarding equipment and film output
• Act as a resource and preceptor for other radiographers and students
• May participate in training programs for Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Special Procedures
• Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for assigned areas
• Circulate to other diagnostic radiology areas including surgery, trauma, and pediatrics as assigned
• Graduate of CAAHEP accredited educational program with cardiovascular specialty emphasis OR JRCERT accredited program with radiologic technology specialty emphasis required
• ARDMS, ARRT and/or CCI credentials in cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty required upon hire
• AHA BLS certification required
• One year full-time experience as certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional preferred
• Associate's degree or higher preferred
• Strong computer skills and ability to communicate technical information to patients and families
