Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Charleston, SC

You will work as an RN in a busy cardiac catheterization lab at Trident Regional Medical Center in Charleston, SC. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Role Overview

You will support two cardiac catheterization labs that perform approximately 10 cases daily. Your responsibilities include assisting with a range of cardiac procedures, managing emergency medications, and providing direct patient care in a fast-paced interventional setting.

Procedures & Skills

You will perform or assist with the following procedures:

• Left heart catheterization (LHC)
• Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
• Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
• Permanent pacemaker (PPM) placement
• Impella support devices
• Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)

You will work with GE x-ray equipment and use Maclab and Meditech documentation systems.

Schedule & Expectations

You will work in accordance with facility policy, including every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. You are required to take 7–9 call days monthly, with at least 1 weekend call day included. Minimum 1+ years of cardiac catheterization lab experience is acceptable.

Credentials & Support

Current RN certification is required. The facility provides scrubs.

Compensation & Duration

Weekly pay is $2,365.20. The assignment begins July 20, 2026, and runs for 91 days.
