MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work weekend shifts Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Perform MRI examinations according to department procedures and protocols
• Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions
• Administer contrast media following established procedures
• Position patients properly and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
• Review images for clinically acceptable results before releasing patients
• Operate MRI equipment and all associated workstations
• Maintain MRI suite in safe and locked environment at all times
• Transport and assist patients on and off procedure tables
• Apply supportive and immobilization devices as needed
• Take call when necessary
• Required certifications: ARMRIT (Certified MRI Technologist) or ARRT-MR, BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year experience in MRI or successful completion of accredited MRI program
• Must demonstrate competence in magnet safety, patient positioning, and pulse sequence parameters
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required
• Ability to work independently and function effectively in fast-paced, stressful environment
• Must be detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
