About this role

Virginia Hospital Center is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026. You will work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, treating 30–40 patients daily on a Varian True Beam Linear Accelerator in both Radiology and Cardiology settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation therapy treatments to adult and geriatric patients
  • Operate Varian True Beam equipment with proficiency in CBCT, kV, and mV imaging
  • Execute IMRT and Electron Beam Therapy dosimetry protocols
  • Deliver specialty treatments including Electron Field, Respiratory Gating/Breath Hold for Left Breast, Heterotopic Bone, Superior Vena Cava, Gynecomastia, and Prophylactic treatments
  • Manage specialty cancer cases including Keloids and Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials
  • Document all procedures in ARIA electronic medical record system (EPIC preferred)

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience
  • Current BLS and ARRT (T) certifications
  • Virginia state license (temporary VA licensure pathway accepted)
  • Demonstrated experience with Varian True Beam systems
  • Proficiency in ARIA documentation; EPIC experience preferred
