CVOR RN Scrub and Circulate Job in Falls Church, VA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic Operating Room (CVOR) at Fairfax Medical Campus, providing both scrub and circulating support during complex surgical procedures. This is a 4x10 night shift position running from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with weekend coverage rotated based on departmental need. You will be primarily scrubbing, with no floating expectations.

Shift Details and Expectations:

• 10-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Monday–Thursday
• On-call requirement every morning from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM following your shift
• Weekend rotation based on departmental need
• Summer and winter holiday coverage required per department scheduling
• Overtime may be necessary
• Any requested time off must be added to the end of your contract to maintain a full 13 working weeks

Required Experience and Skills:

• 3 to 5 years of recent experience scrubbing and circulating in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
• Demonstrated experience with Coronary Artery Bypass (primary and redo), aortic aneurysms, AVR and MVR procedures (primary and redo), TAVR, ECMO, and VAD cases
• Adult cardiac experience required; pediatric experience is a plus
• Strong multitasking and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to participate in professional department activities

Certifications and Requirements:

• BLS certification (AHA required)
• CNOR certification preferred
• Epic access required
• Participation in ongoing research protocols required

Compensation and Benefits:

Weekly pay is $3,644.16. The assignment is 89 days, with a start date of July 20, 2026. Free parking is available on site.
