Description

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - OR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work three 12-hour shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM<br>• Guaranteed 36 hours per week<br>• Every other weekend required<br>• On-call shifts required after regular shift until 6:30 AM, potentially on weekends<br>• Response time for on-call is 45 minutes<br>• Currently averaging 5-6 call shifts per 6-week period<br>• If working on-call after midnight, up to 8 hours of rest time provided<br>• 2 years of operating room experience required<br>• Must have extensive experience in Hepatobiliary, Whipple, and Abdominal Organ transplant procedures<br>• Proficient in complex Spine, ENT, Neuro, and intra-abdominal transplant procedures<br>• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS<br>• EPIC charting system experience required<br>• Will float to skill set level as needed<br>• Patient ratio of 1:1<br>• Daily census ranges from 20-28 patients across 17 operating rooms<br>• Scrubs provided by facility<br>• No more than 7 days RTO per 13-week contract<br>• Parking passes available at monthly cost ranging from $63-$73<br>• Work with patients of all age groups: adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics<br>• Circulating required, scrubbing optional</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This short-term acute care facility is a comprehensive medical center with 1,259 staffed beds, offering advanced surgical services including Level 1 trauma procedures. The facility specializes in complex, high-acuity procedures including neurosurgery, orthopedic spine surgery, ENT procedures, organ transplants, and hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery. The operating room features state-of-the-art equipment including robotic surgery capabilities and specialized neurosurgical instruments, supported by comprehensive interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><p>Saint Louis, MO</p><p>Saint Louis offers a vibrant metropolitan experience with rich cultural attractions, professional sports teams, and diverse dining options, while maintaining a reasonable cost of living compared to other major cities.
