Medical Lab Technician Job in Glenwood Springs, CO

Valley View Hospital is seeking a Medical Lab Technician to join our laboratory team in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting December 13, 2026.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, weekdays only—no weekend or on-call duties
• Weekly pay: $2,392
• Assignment duration: 91 days

Your Responsibilities:

• Collect and receive specimens for testing
• Perform chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic, and other medical laboratory tests
• Operate manual and automated laboratory equipment to analyze specimens

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Lab Scientist or Technician
• Minimum 5 years of microbiology plate reading experience and/or microbiology supervisory experience
• Current Medical Technician (ASCP) or AMT registration
• Associate degree (or higher, depending on certification level)
• Proficiency with Meditech and laboratory equipment
