CVOR Technologist

Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work every other weekend
• 10-12 call shifts per 6-week schedule
• Float within facility/scope of practice and to Piedmont Macon North Hospital as needed
• Minimum 1 year experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Handle diagnoses including General, OB/GYN, Plastic, ENT, Eyes, CV/Thoracic, Laparoscopic, Urology, Robotic, Orthopedic, Orthopedic/Totals, Neuro/Spine procedures
• Operate bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, fiber optics, and flex sigmoidoscopes
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• 24 orientation hours required
• Must work holidays if they fall during assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day)
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
• Full compliance required to start on time
• GA or Compact license required at time of submission
