ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating to other units
• No 48-hour shifts
• Time off requests must be submitted in sub packet and made up at end of contract
• RTO blackout during Labor Day
• 16-bed emergency department with a 4:1 variable patient ratio
• Scrub color required: Royal Blue
• EMR system: FirstNet - Cerner
• Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
• CPI certification required but may be obtained after contract start date and is provided on site
• Active RN licensure required
• Must reside greater than 50 miles from facility
• Responsibilities include triage of patients, critical thinking, and assessment skills
• Clinical skills required: IV/IO, chest tube management, catheterization, and critical care drip management
• Competency in critical care assessment and management, IV skills, and cardiac monitoring required
