Physical Therapist Job in Red Bluff, CA

You'll work as a Physical Therapist in a home health setting serving Tehama County. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting May 4, 2026, with a consistent Monday–Friday, 8-hour day schedule and no weekend or holiday obligations.

Your Role

You'll perform approximately 5 visits per day across your service area, covering most of Tehama County with an average daily patient census of 78. Your responsibilities include conducting Start of Care (SOC) visits, particularly with orthopedic patients when nursing is not ordered. You'll treat patients with orthopedic and joint replacement needs, geriatric patients managing multiple comorbidities, CHF, and COPD. Plan for approximately 40 miles of travel per day.

What You'll Need

• Current BLS certification
• Experience in home health therapy preferred; applicants with fewer than 2 years of clinical experience may be considered if they have home health background

Tools and Environment

You'll use the HCHB—HomeCare HomeBase EMR system, accessed via a provided tablet. There are no ventilator patients in this census, and you'll have no call responsibilities.

Compensation

You'll earn $2,482 per week for this 91-day assignment.
