CVOR Technologist Job in Albany, NY

Albany Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team on a travel assignment. This 91-day position offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment while supporting complex cardiovascular and multi-specialty procedures.

Role Overview

You will serve as a CVOR Technologist, assisting with cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgical cases. Your responsibilities will include preparing surgical instruments and equipment, maintaining sterile fields, passing instruments to surgeons, and managing supplies throughout procedures. You will work across multiple case types and handle diverse surgical equipment in a cardiovascular operating room setting.

• Schedule: 3x12 Days (three 12-hour day shifts per week)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: October 5, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $1,941
• Facility Type: Hospital (Albany Medical Center)

Requirements

• NBSTSA CST (Certified Surgical Technician) certification required at time of submission
• Strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures
• Ability to handle diverse case types and surgical equipment
• Possible on-call requirement
