Med/Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

Join HCA HealthONE Swedish as a Med/Surg RN working three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This 91-day travel assignment offers you the opportunity to deliver care on a busy medical-surgical floor with 33 rooms accommodating up to 49 patients.

What You'll Do:

• Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 during night shifts
• Perform wound care procedures and occasional bowel programs
• Provide light burn care and partner with the burn unit to care for low-acuity burn patients
• Care for surgical flap patients and spinal cord injury patients with complex wounds requiring surgical intervention
• Use the Meditech EMR system and telemetry monitoring equipment
• Adapt to semi-private room assignments during high census periods

What We're Looking For:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience working with spinal cord injury patients preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with patient care as the priority
