Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 36/36 schedule with every other weekend coverage required
• Maintain 1:7 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• Float to other units as required
• No call responsibilities
• Care for adult and geriatric patients on a 35-bed unit with daily census of 35
• Work with Epic charting system
• Participate in nursing student support and clinical education responsibilities
• Use skills including Med/Surg care, Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, isolation precautions/PPE
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation plus 4-5 hours of non-billable modules
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs
• Required certifications: AHA BLS (NIHSS preferred)
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Must live 100 miles from facility
• First time travelers accepted
• Drug test must be completed 12-14 calendar days prior to start
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed for fit testing per CDC guidelines
