<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work in a 3-room unit serving inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients<br>• See 13-15 patients per day with patient ratios of 3 during day shifts<br>• Hours may vary depending on workload<br>• Block scheduling with weeknight and weekend call required<br>• 32 hours of orientation provided<br>• Floating is 100% required - may float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby<br>• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays<br>• Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics<br>• IV starts required<br>• 2 years of experience required<br>• Previous charge experience preferred<br>• Travel experience for first-time travelers accepted<br>• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT N or NMTCB<br>• NMTCB or CNMT required<br>• Required procedure experience: Cardiac, Bone Scan, Liver/Spleen Scan, Lung Scan, Thyroid Studies, Tumor Localization, Myocardial<br>• Preferred procedure experience: Brain Scan, Renal Flow, SPECT<br>• Documentation using Cerner system<br>• Equipment: Siemens preferred<br>• Skills include nuclear cardiology, perfusion studies, MUGA scans, HIDA scans, and handling radioactive materials</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive nuclear medicine department with modern imaging capabilities and a full range of diagnostic services.
