ED Registered Nurse Job in Coos Bay, OR

Opportunity:

Job Details:

• Apply nursing process to patient care within RN scope of practice as defined by Oregon State Board of Nursing
• Teach patients and significant others about their care
• Document patient care in medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care
• On-call schedule to be determined by facility
• Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
• Required certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Oregon nursing license required (doesn't need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain)
• Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years required
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year required
• Certifications don't need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
