Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shift
• 13-week assignment with no on-call requirements
• No floating required between departments
• Weekend coverage required with 6 weekend shifts per contract
• See approximately 8 patients per day in 3 room facility
• Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient ratios: 3 during days, 1 on weekends
• Any scrub color permitted
• First time travelers accepted
• 2 years of experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT N, CNMT or NMTCB, BLS
• Skills required include nuclear cardiology, PET scans, bone scans, HIDA scans, MUGA scans, stress testing, and handling radioactive materials
• Must complete PA fingerprints and childline clearances
• Pass/fail exam required for clearance with only 3 attempts allowed
• Complete labs within 48 hours of signing
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
