Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for 13 weeks<br>• Every other weekend requirement<br>• Patient ratio of 1:5<br>• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed<br>• Floating required within skillset<br>• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white<br>• EPIC charting experience required<br>• 24 hours of orientation<br>• 1 year of experience required<br>• Travel experience required<br>• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not Compact)<br>• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS<br>• Candidates within 75 miles of facility not accepted<br>• MS/Tele with cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required<br>• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias<br>• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams<br>• Nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, non-invasive airway management<br>• IV therapy/phlebotomy with peripheral line care/management<br>• Isolation precautions and PPE<br>• Care for adult and geriatric patients<br>• Previous charge experience preferred<br>• Cannot have more than 10 days of RTO</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This is a 528-bed acute care teaching facility that is Magnet-recognized and certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center. The hospital is affiliated with Cleveland Clinic and Roswell Park, offering specialized services through multiple institutes including cardiology, oncology, neuroscience, pediatric emergency care, and birthing services. The facility provides advanced surgical programs including vascular, thoracic, and surgical oncology, with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, and rapid response teams.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><p>Rochester, NY</p><p>Rochester offers a vibrant city experience with rich cultural attractions, including world-class museums, music venues, and the famous Rochester International Jazz Festival.
