Registered Nurse - MS/Tele @ Rochester - Rochester General Hospital

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for 13 weeks<br>• Every other weekend requirement<br>• Patient ratio of 1:5<br>• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed<br>• Floating required within skillset<br>• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white<br>• EPIC charting experience required<br>• 24 hours of orientation<br>• 1 year of experience required<br>• Travel experience required<br>• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not Compact)<br>• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS<br>• Candidates within 75 miles of facility not accepted<br>• MS/Tele with cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required<br>• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias<br>• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams<br>• Nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, non-invasive airway management<br>• IV therapy/phlebotomy with peripheral line care/management<br>• Isolation precautions and PPE<br>• Care for adult and geriatric patients<br>• Previous charge experience preferred<br>• Cannot have more than 10 days of RTO</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This is a 528-bed acute care teaching facility that is Magnet-recognized and certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center.
