ED RN Job in Hartford, CT

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. You will work 12.5-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three days per week with 36 hours guaranteed. This is a 91-day assignment beginning May 10, 2026.

About the Role

You will provide nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department environment, managing both emergency department patients and inpatient hold cases. Your responsibilities include:

• Handle inpatient hold RN ratios and acuity management
• Manage patient ratios based on acuity levels
• Provide direct nursing care to emergency department patients
• Work every other weekend rotation

What We're Looking For

You hold a current RN license and bring experience working in an emergency department setting. The ability to manage multiple patient acuity levels and transition between emergency department patients and inpatient holds is essential. You are comfortable in a high-volume, dynamic environment and can prioritize care effectively.

Compensation and Schedule

You will earn $2,342.34 weekly. Your schedule consists of three 12.5-hour day shifts per week with every other weekend rotation required.
