CT Technologist Job in Asheville, NC

You'll work as a CT Technologist in the CT imaging department at Mission Hospital, located on the 2nd floor of the A Tower in Asheville, NC. This is a 91-day travel position running from July 20, 2026.

Your Role

You'll perform CT imaging across all areas of the department, including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures. Your daily responsibilities include:

• ED trauma and stroke imaging
• Neuro, MSK, and body imaging procedures
• Invasive and cardiac imaging
• Pediatric imaging
• Venipuncture as needed

Equipment & Systems

You'll operate GE Optima, GE EVO, and GE Revolution CT scanners, as well as Medrad Injector equipment. You'll document and access patient information through Cerner Rad Net and Phillips PACS electronic medical record systems.

Schedule & Requirements

This position offers a 4x10 evening shift schedule, working Monday through Thursday from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM. You should be prepared for possible weekend shifts and rotation to other shift times. There is a potential on-call requirement of up to 12 hours per month.

Qualifications

You must hold current ARRT (R) certification. Experience with GE equipment, invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and venipuncture skills are preferred. You'll need to be a strong team player who works well independently and takes initiative.
