Job Details:

• Work overnight shifts Monday through Thursday from 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM EST
• On-call, callback, and holiday coverage required per unit needs
• Local candidates only
• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans, adhering strictly to department policy and procedures for patient safety
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing
• Position patients accordingly, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility using safe patient handling techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records by documenting all necessary components within EPIC, identifying images, and ensuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Siemens scanner experience required (minimum 6 months)
• EPIC experience highly desired (minimum 1 year)
• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology required
• Active ARRT certification required
• NYS licensure required prior to start date
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required
• Injection certification preferred; must be willing to complete during orientation process
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Must demonstrate a patient and compassionate disposition
• Must be a team player who can maintain a cohesive working environment
