Medical Technologist Job in Morgantown, WV

Join WVU JW Ruby Memorial Hospital as a Medical Technologist on our Blood Bank team. This is a 182-day travel position offering stability and specialized focus in a critical laboratory function.

Role & Responsibilities

• Work 5x8 night shifts from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Perform blood bank testing and processing with no direct patient contact required
• Operate laboratory instruments including NEO Iris equipment
• Support Level 1 trauma operations through blood bank services
• Chart using EPIC and Beaker systems

What You'll Need

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related chemical/biological science degree
• Certified Medical Technologist (MT) via AMT Verification
• Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) via ASCP Verification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• High Complexity Testing Personnel (HCTP) License or Trainee License issued by WV Department of Health
• Experience with Epic Beaker and Sunquest systems preferred
• NEO Iris instrument experience preferred
