MRI Technologist Job in Beaumont, TX

You'll work as an MRI Technologist at CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. This is a full-time travel position lasting 91 days, starting July 27, 2026.

About the Role

You'll perform routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures for inpatients, emergency room patients, ICU patients, and outpatients. Your responsibilities include screening patients and employees for MRI safety, troubleshooting basic equipment maintenance, participating in quality assurance, and resolving issues with image processing and archival systems. You'll ensure all completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS, follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser, and escalate technical issues to the PACS administrator as needed. You'll also provide support to other imaging technologists and adapt patient assessment and care methods to meet individual patient needs.

Schedule and Compensation

You'll work 5 days per week on day shifts, rotating between 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM and 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Weekly pay is $2,482. You'll demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and campuses as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification from ARRT or ARMRIT
• BLS certification from AHA
• Proficiency with Epic and Sectra PACS systems
• Basic computer experience
• 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting (preferred)
