Mammography Technologist Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Medical Center's Medical Arts Complex is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a temporary assignment in Pittsfield, MA. This is a day shift position running 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, with a start date of July 27, 2026, and a 91-day duration. You will earn $3,399 weekly.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide variety of technical radiologic procedures using independent judgment
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACS applications
• Demonstrate proficiency in both X-Ray and Mammography imaging
• Maintain proper PACS, HIS, and RIS computer system operation
• Ensure patient care in accordance with departmental and facility policies
• Practice infection control and body substance isolation per OSHA standards
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• May assume supervisory or instructional responsibilities as assigned
• Attend annual mandatory education in blood borne pathogens and infection control

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT (R) Certification required
• ARRT (M) Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray experience with at least 1 year current
• Minimum 2 years of current Mammography experience
• Current Massachusetts Radiology license or application in process
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current Skills Checklist for Mammography and X-Ray (within 1 year)
• One supervisory signed reference from past two years of employment
• Own vehicle required; must reside more than 50 miles from facility

Assignment Details:

• 5x8 day shift schedule; weekend and evening work required
• Holiday coverage as needed; no on-call responsibilities
• 8-hour non-billable orientation period
• No block scheduling or 10/12-hour shift accommodations
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
