Job Details:

• Proficiency in both X-Ray and Mammography required
• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray experience with 1 year current experience required
• Minimum 2 years of current Mammography experience required
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
• Holiday coverage required if needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• 10 or 12-hour shift schedules will not be considered - must be willing to work posted schedule
• Perform a wide variety of technical radiologic and mammography procedures requiring independent judgment
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACS applications
• Demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems
• Practice infection control and body substance isolation in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Attend annual mandatory education including blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation
• Maintain department competencies as required
• Must have excellent patient care skills
• Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (M), BLS (AHA)
• Massachusetts Radiology license or active application required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Skills Checklist for both Mammography and X-Ray completed within one year required
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
