Operating Room RN Job in Charleston, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in the Operating Room at MUSC Health Charleston. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts weekly, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with on-call availability and weekend/holiday coverage requirements.

Your Role

You'll function as both scrub and circulate nurse, supporting a Level 1 trauma program. Surgical specialties include Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. You may be asked to float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units and sister facilities. The facility uses EPIC for charting and provides scrubs.

Schedule & Expectations

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week (6:30 AM–7:00 PM)
• On-call: up to 4 shifts every 4 weeks
• Weekend requirement: up to one shift every 4 weeks
• Holiday coverage required (Christmas or New Year's periods)
• Guaranteed hours with potential call-offs up to one shift per two weeks

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• Radiation Badge (provided by agency)
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Two years of OR RN experience strongly preferred
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Assignment Details

Start date: July 13, 2026. Duration: 91 days. Weekly pay: $1,892.16. You'll care for Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatric patients in a dynamic surgical environment.
