ED Registered Nurse Job in Portage, WI

Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 13-bed Emergency Department in Portage, Wisconsin. This is a 13-week travel contract beginning June 22, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work three 12-hour shifts per week on a variable day/night schedule with start times at 5:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 5:00 PM. The role includes every other weekend and holiday rotation. You can expect 1:1 to 4 patient ratios in a fast-paced emergency setting. RT and on-site X-ray support are available. There are no on-call or callback requirements, though additional shifts may be offered during periods of sick calls.

Schedule and Compensation

You will work 36 guaranteed hours per week at $2,351.52 weekly pay. The contract is eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours. You may request up to 7 days of time off during the 13-week period.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Epic experience required
• Prior travel healthcare experience preferred
• Associate degree or certificate required; bachelor's degree preferred

Facility Details

A 50-mile radius rule applies from the facility. You must be willing to float to other Aspirus locations in Wisconsin Rapids, Plover, and Stevens Point as needed. Any colored scrubs are permitted. During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times.
