Cath Lab Technologist Job in Tacoma, WA

St Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026. You will work four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM) with on-call responsibilities, earning $3,579 weekly.

Role Overview

You will perform scrubbing, monitoring, and documentation for cardiac and vascular procedures in an acute care setting. Your responsibilities include:

• Right and left heart catheterizations with or without intervention
• Structural heart and vascular cases, including TAVR and mitral clip procedures
• IABP and Impella insertion support
• Prep and recovery for cardiac procedures
• Cases rotating between Cath Lab and EP lab suites under a one-team approach

The department averages 22 total cases per day with potential for up to 15 add-on cases. You will work with EPIC, MacLab, and GE Imaging equipment throughout your assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT certifications
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Prep and recovery or ICU/PACU experience preferred

On-Call Schedule

You will be required to take 8 to 10 days of call in each 6-week period with on-call responsibilities when not in house.
