Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Ft. Walton Beach, FL

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in our Cardiac Cath Lab. You'll work four 10-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with self-scheduling available.

In this role, you'll manage a wide range of cardiac interventional procedures, including TAVR, PFO closure, atherectomy, PCI, right and left heart catheterization, Impella and IABP support, device implants, DCCV, and transesophageal echocardiography. You'll operate GE Innova imaging equipment and document cases using MacLab and Meditech systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing direct patient care during complex cardiac procedures
• Maintaining competency in structural heart, IABP, Impella, iFR, and FFR techniques
• Supporting advanced interventions including PCI and PFO closure
• STEMI call coverage approximately 10 to 12 days per month
• Floating to EP and Stress Lab departments as needed

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Active ACLS and BLS certification
• Demonstrated cardiac catheterization lab experience
• Proficiency with Impella, IABP, and structural heart procedures
• Advanced interventional skills required

The hospital provides surgical scrubs. This assignment begins September 9, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,311. You'll join a facility equipped with current technology and a collaborative clinical team.
