Occupational Therapist School-Based Job in Lake Havasu City, AZ

You'll work as a licensed Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting at Arizona Milemarkers Therapy, serving students from preschool through high school across multiple school sites in the Lake Havasu City area.

Schedule & Hours

• Full school year contract
• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM to 3:30/4:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (early release schedule)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Your Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to approximately 25 students
• Conduct evaluations and screenings
• Complete annual write-ups and IEP documentation
• Allocate 2.5–3 days per week to direct treatment and 1.5–2 days to documentation and evaluations
• Attend IEP meetings as needed, including after-school sessions

Work Environment

• Float between 6 schools (2 of which are interconnected)
• Two schools require a 20-minute drive to the Parker area
• Document daily progress using DSCTop
• Use EIEPPRO for evaluations, annuals, and quarterly reports
• Access internal documentation through Microsoft Teams

Requirements

• Current license as an Occupational Therapist (OT); COTA certification does not meet this requirement as evaluations are necessary
• BLS certification required

Compensation

• $2,574 weekly
• 306-day assignment
• Start date: July 27, 2026
