Opportunity:

Surgical Technologist - CVOR

Job Details:

• 10-hour day shifts with variable start times of 7:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, or 1:00 PM based on need
• Rotating weekend and holiday schedule required
• Experienced Surgical Technologist for Open Heart (CVOR preferred)
• Must be comfortable scrubbing a variety of cases including orthopedic, neuro, and general surgery
• May be required to float to different departments, units, or facilities within 30 miles of originally assigned facility
• Mandatory overtime may be required on an as-needed basis to ensure unit coverage
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required
• Local candidates accepted
• 75-mile radius rule applies
• Time off requests must be kept to a minimum and must be approved prior to confirmation
• Holiday time off limited to 1 of the 3 major holidays
• Associates Degree from Surgical Tech Program required
• Minimum 2 years of formal in-hospital experience required
• Certification from NBSTSA required
• Required certifications: Surgical Technologist Certification, BLS (AHA)
