Registered Nurse - NICU @ Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center Crisis Response

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Patient ratios of 1:2-4
• 13-week contract available
• No call requirements
• Weekend requirement: 3 Fridays, 3 Saturdays, and 3 Sundays in a 6-week period
• Float to Peds/PICU/nursery caring for infants up to and including 12 months
• Self-scheduling per unit needs
• 24 hours of unit orientation required
• Dress code: Navy blue or white scrubs
• Minimum 3 years of experience required in a level 3 or 4 ICN
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• Ventilator experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Care for premature infants (as low as 22 weeks), surgical infants, and hypoxic injury patients
• Perform special procedures including therapeutic hypothermia, nitric oxide, UAC/UVC, PCLs, Broviac, trachs, GTT, and ostomys
• Work with specialized equipment including Tecotherm, BCPAP, Ram NC, Alaris IV pumps, Med Fusion for feedings, Servo Vents, HFOV, Baby Leo, and Giraffe
• Must complete 8-10 hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually
• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week
