Sterile Processing Technician

Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Tech - Sterile Processing Tech Outpatient

Job Details:

• Full-time position working 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday with no call
• Typical schedule is 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with some days being shorter
• Position is located off-campus and staffed with one SPD Tech
• Process surgical instrumentation including endoscopes and EGDs for endoscopy days
• Clean, wrap, sterilize, and maintain inventory of instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies for surgery and additional departments and associated clinics
• Assist with Perioperative crews to facilitate procedure efficiency
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience required
• Must have experience with Ortho
• Certification as a CSPDT (Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) or CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) required
• Guaranteed hours will not apply on holidays for clinic workers
