Surgical Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. This is a 12-hour shift position running for 89 days, beginning July 6, 2026.

Role Overview

You will work in the Main Operating Room providing direct surgical support across multiple specialties. Your responsibilities include scrubbing for surgical procedures, preparing instruments and equipment, and assisting surgical teams. You will support a high-acuity patient population including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neurosurgery, vascular, ophthalmic, gynecology, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma cases.

Key Details

• 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights)
• Up to 48 hours per week
• Work with 2 DaVinci robots used across multiple services
• Support transplant program involving liver, kidney, and heart procedures
• Level 1 trauma center operating room environment
• Weekly pay: $1,621.62

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist credential (NBSTSA Certification required OR 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician)
• Minimum 2 years of surgical technician experience
• BLS Certification from American Heart Association
• NY License required for NBSTSA Tech License holders
• Level 1 trauma center operating room experience highly preferred
